Programme for Active Learning (PAL)

The Programme for Active Learning (PAL) is a component of PERI's recommendation to complement the national syllabus. It provides students with opportunities to be engaged in the Aesthetics and Physical domains. It is non-examinable and the curriculum is especially custom-designed based on school needs and students’ interest to encourage Socio-Emotional Learning.

NTPS was first identified as a Phase 1a pilot school in 2009 and PAL was implemented for P1 and P2 classes in 2010. Over the years, the PAL team has done much with the programmes since its first implementation as our continual efforts to improve and engage our students meaningfully.
